Unit Reflection

                     Pop culture is presented by images, songs , traditions . We need to understand about culture if we want to estabilish. This classes had helped so much, because we can understand a right definition of cullture. We can see how the culture has changes so fast. It is an opportunity to see how big was the changes during the years.

Music Disco

                 The music disc became very popular in 1970's. It is a gender song and also a freedom of expression movement led by the black people and the latines. The style is known for being the first embraced by the dance houses. It was very popular in people's villages, influencing several places. The main musical influences include funk, Latin music. It was much popular in the past, used a lot at parties .Now they can be inserted into a Jukebox to play special tracks.

Team Speech - 2000

               

        Hello Classmates, my topic for the team speech was about popular things in the year 2000's, as music, movies , fashion , people and more. For our speech, we did a museum, and each room has a topic about some popular things that became famous in 2000's. About my part in the presentation I have talked about a person well known for terrorism '' Osama Bin Laden ''. He was born in March 10, 1957. Besides leader, he was the founder of the terrorist organization called ''al-Qaeda''. They are assigned several attacks against the U.S Military.A well-known attack was against the Twin Towers in 2001, September 11. This attack shocked the world. But ten years later, he died. Also, I talked a little bit about the fashion. One of them was the Livestrong bracelet, to support those people who have cancer. Another one was the trucker hats , which became popular by the skaters first. In my opinion, each person did exactly what as we expected. Khalid added some details about what happened in September 11, and also explained about some popular movies. Tania explained about objects and technology. And Finally , Angelina explained about popular songs that made much success in 2000.

Michael Jackson PopStar!

                 Michael Joseph Jackson was born in Gary on August 29, 1958 in Gary Indiana. He started singing and dancing at the age of five. According the magazine Rolling Stone, Michael earned about 7 billion dollar in his whole life, making him the richest artist in the world. Even after his death, he got 1 billion dollars. When Michael was a kid, He said that He felt sad and lonely, although the success, because your relationship with his father was never good, and some others reasons. Michael Jackson was a great artist, considered as the pop king . He has a big influence of the pop music. I am sure that when we think about pop stars, one of the first persons that comes to your mind is Michael. So he has a big influence for all of us, even after his death.
